A friend of mine was invited to do an open mic tonight. When she told me about it, it reminded me of how long it has been since I’ve grasped a mic in my hand. There is something so powerful about being in the presence of an audience. You have them at your attention…all eyes on you. You decide how they will feel by the power of your words. Once you get the feeling you are sprung and you want to have it again and again…much like that big O that feels so good it hurts. It kinda sparks my interest to do open mics again….maybe coming live and direct in a positive space and time….to be continued
