Language

Language has the ability to distinguish who you are and how you relate to society as well as your position IN it as well. Words have the power to harm, console, and define the nature of life itself. We have to be very careful of how, when and where we choose to use them.

Your words and your tone sliced through me like the edge of the sharpest blade. How many times will this moment in time repeat itself before the area becomes calloused and numb? How do you propose that I protect myself from this unpleasant fodder?
