Reflective

I had a desire to listen to some jazz today. I haven’t listened in awhile and with the death of a legendary vocalist, Nina Simone, I felt compelled. I listened to her “Baltimore” LP, my mind instant calm. I was urged on to play Coltrane and Miles. There was beautiful energy in the room. I could feel all those notes dancing around me. Their creativity is sooooo powerful. Each note is like an appetizer to the big meal. I truly love the energy they put into their work. It constantly inspires me to creative my thoughts, words, and phrases.
