Blogging 101 – Day One

Today’s assignment: write and publish a “who I am and why I’m here” post on your blog.

To help you get started, here are a few questions:

Who am I and why am I here?

I am a writer. I am here to spread my words to the masses and do what all writers want to do with their words, be a beacon of hope.

Why are you blogging publicly, rather than keeping a personal journal?

In an effort to keep myself honest. When I made writing commitments to myself, I couldn’t easily renege on them.  I would have to follow through.  I wanted to get feedback from others, good or bad, to assist me in improving the way that I deliver my words to an audience. I also wanted a place to explore all the ideas that are in my head.

What topics do you think you’ll write about?

I write about whatever is on my mind when I sit to type.  I am not structured and I am quite random.
Who would you love to connect with via your blog?

I would love to connect to other writers to have a sense of community.  I would also like to connect to anyone who enjoys a great story or poem.

If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what would you hope to have accomplished?

I would hope to improve my writing and have enough ideas, words, and concepts to put together something great.
